Certified Multiple Addiction Therapist Training

IITAP is offering the first component of their Certified Multiple Addiction Therapist "CMAT" training which is the task centered approach to treating Eating Disorders. The three types will be presented with the first seven tasks for each along with performables. This is the first step in the certification program which addresses the interaction between the addictions. This session of training is only open to those who are CSATs or who have completed at least Modules 1 & 2 of the CSAT training. For those who are already CSATs, upon successful completion of this training, you will be provided a certificate stating that you have completed the training and are now a CMAT. Additional training opportunities will be available in 2009 to add to your CMAT certification with a Financial Disorder and Chemical Dependency component.

Connections: A 12 Session Psychoeducational Shame Resilience Curriculum Register now to attend this 2-day National Training. As we learn more about shame resilience and start to put the elements into practice, we can start to move through the by-products of shame – fear, blame and disconnection – and move toward the courage, compassion and connection we need to live our best, authentic lives. This empowering new approach to understanding the universal experience of shame begins a crucial new dialogue of hope. Dr. Brené Brown has designed this curriculum to offer facilitators empirically based strategies for understanding shame and building shame resilience.
