HEALING CHOICES-ADULTS
Intensive Outpatient Program

Healing Choices is an intensive outpatient program for adults, designed to support individuals and families in achieving an enhanced quality of life, free from mood-altering chemicals.

This program is offered to individuals who suffer from dysfunctional behaviors such as:

  • Problem drinking
  • Prescription and other drug abuse
  • Depression
  • Over spending
  • Disordered eating
  • Codependency
  • Sex Addiction
  • Relationship Issues

Family involvement is a critical aspect of the program, offering support and education to family members.  As a result, alternative communication styles and a new sense of individual accountability can be established to support the whole family in recovery.

Who Can Benefit:

  • Individuals who depend on mood altering chemicals or other behaviors such as work, over-spending, codependency, or compulsive caretaking to change their feelings in order to be more comfortable within themselves.
  • Individuals who are in a relationship with a person as described above and is thus caught in the position of believing that it is up to him or her to control or change the other.
  • Parents of an individual who uses substances or other behaviors to manage feelings. These parents often absorb the negative consequences created by the troubled individual.
  • Individuals who were raised in a household where one or both parents used mood altering chemicals or other compulsive behaviors and therefore learned unhealthy coping strategies that affect here/now, current adult relationships.
  • Individuals experiencing distress in personal relationships as a result of poor choices.
  • Individuals who are interested in enhancing their existing, ongoing therapy through the exploration of their family of origin patterns.
