If someone you know needs help, please call 713-942-4100 or browse our web site to learn more about the services offered by The Council.

The Council is here to help anyone at any time with any issue related to alcohol and drugs. Whether you need an assessment or evaluation, counseling, intervention services, pediatric care, information, referrals, intensive outpatient treatment services, an aftercare group, continuing education workshops, an alcohol or drug education class, specialized services for seniors or workplace services, The Council is here.

Our service accommodates each client. We assist individuals, families and businesses wherever they are in the cycle of addiction, from non-use to substance abuse to addiction to recovery. We provide clinical and treatment services, women's and children's services, school-based prevention and intervention, adolescent intervention, education and outreach services and other community-based initiatives for anyone who is seeking services or information for alcohol or other drug-related problems. The Council's services match the cycle of addiction, as seen on our Council Services Addressing the Six Degrees of Substance Use chart.

The Council's doors are open to everyone. Our services are confidential, unbiased and bilingual. Counselors are qualified, licensed professionals, and sliding-fees are available for specific programs.

The Council works every day to save lives, heal families and provide hope.
